Running into trouble confirming your voter registration at your polling place? A provisional ballot allows you to cast your vote in the event that an issue arises with your registration. You can simply request a provisional ballot from a poll worker! Common reasons why a provisional ballot may be used include being registered under an old address or not returning an absentee ballot.

You can request assistance when casting your ballot in a variety of ways, including language interpretation, curbside voting, or further in-person help. If you require assistance of any kind, let poll workers know.

NOTE: If you are voting in person, you are required to present an accepted photo identification in order to vote. If you need help obtaining a valid photo ID, contact our partners at VoteRiders for free assistance.
