On July 8, 2020, two members of the Central Ohio Street Medic Collective led this training on how to prepare for a protest, proper gear to carry, protecting oneself and others from chemical weapons, police crowd control tactics and what to do for proper after care.
Central Ohio Street Medic Collective is a collective of Street medics who volunteer at protests and actions to care for protesters at demonstrations against racism, injustice and inequality. Street medics and street medic training focuses on protest-related injuries and illnesses like pepper spray, blunt force trauma injuries, heat stroke, etc.
